Re: Good turbine for the aveo?
I suggest reading Maximum Boost. Long and short of it is if you want decent all over the power band (nothing focused too much in the high or low rpm) look for a factory turbo car with slightly larger displacement then the car you want to put the turbo on, and use that for turbo sizing.
You can't believe everything you read on the internet, after all that's how World War 1 was started.

Re: Good turbine for the aveo?
how many turbo threads do you need a day?
i say get a ko4 from a vw, highly accessible, and a decent turbo for our size engine. also there is a lot of choices of parts to adapt to your install, and best part is, they arent meant for a honde.

Ko4 turbo's are everywhere. It's a good platform to start from if your foot desires another upgrade. Garret turbos are nice and plentiful as well, but vw's are actually very similair to the aveo in ways so it's a good starting point to kinda figure out how you wanna do everything. Check vwvortex.com.
