I bought rupert in early 09. I did a few things here and there mudflaps RAI
I moved to germany and without my other prodject i Started to get board with my car so i slowly started changing it. White wheel covers took my KC lights off
After awhile i still was unhappy with the overall car so started to change more stuff

I loved it the car road like **** but on those corners it was like no other but around where i live there is alot of cobblestone soi had to raise it. So i also painted the steelies back black with white trim rings and some extended gold lugs.

Sorry about the engine its been a bed season of rain so i havent been able to clean yet.
thanks rabbit. As far as camber im trying to get -2 degree camber plates made for the rear from a mk2 golf. Im getting alot of help from stancworks on finding them im sure you have heard of them being that your a vw guy. Im taking a break with the wide wheels for now cant find a shop that will mount my tires. Ill have to run wider tires and wheni dothat even with camber plates ill have to widden my rear fenders a bit and the same for the fronts so im waiting till i get back to the states and im around my tools and shop.
For you i hope your not getting rid of the drags i like those. If not you have 40ETs on the front 10ETs on the rear correct. The only way your going widder is a different offset like a 0et that would look great with camber plates and a little stretch on the tire like a 185 45. Would you put the 10s on the front and run camber bolts? If you found a way to use those fender flares it would be sick but you cant do to much than you will make me look bad haha.
I am actually considering going oem+ style with corvette saw blades (8.5 front 9.5 rear). But I just like have the deep wheel lip too much. Not sure what I am going to do, the rear is definitely the easier area to work with, but i need new rims, they are squares from going over rail road tracks now that I moved. 4 years no problems with the rims, 3 months driving over railroad tracks at my new house, they are square.
I do have the 40 and 10, but i have a 5mm spacer in the front for break clearance.
Is there any rubbing or clearance issue with your bassett rims, im looking to buy 15x7 with -6 offset and 205mm tires
And im not sure if there will be problems, because yours look real close to strut, but noticed your using 155mm. And
One more question, are you using 20mm spacers in the front as well.
There is a couple issues with these wheels. Im going to have to Cut and reflare the front and rear fenders. Mine are close i did usea 20 mm spacer on the rear. The front will need a 5-10mm to clear the calipers. With that offset your not going to fit those tires if your lowered. If your going basset you need aspecial shop to balance them and they use special lug nuts. Good luck keep me posted if you do go that way id like to see it.
