Re: Odometer light stopped working

Will there be a specific light for the odometer too? I have read somewhere else before that the odometer glow is natural and will stay green. Thanks for the info though, thats what I was looking for to replace the bulbs.

Odometer light stopped working

Hey everyone. I forgot I registered and posted a question here a while back, luckily that issue was fixed and I reposted the final findings. Thanks to all who helped. Got a new issue. My car's Odometer is working fine, but the light that illuminates the mileage is gone. The rest of the interior ligh...

Re: Releasing the key?

I completely forgot about the site....sorry. I found out that the issue was extending to the car not letting the transmission shift from Park even with the brake applied, due to the switch not being activated. IT was a small $10 switch that easily unplugs and removes from the car under the dash on t...

Re: Auto Tranny shifting

I will try to take a video to show you what I mean...I might just be using the incorrect words. For instance... I am in D4 (Overdrive) fully stopped. I shift the tranny to 1st, and activate the HOLD mode (HOLD light appears in dash). I floor the gas...RPMs go to 6000 and bounce there (around 40 to 4...

Re: Metal Themostat Housing

Hitting bumps no....normal wear...yes. Mine actually cracked and blew up under normal conditions. replaced it at 65,000 miles. I might get this metal one...I hate that everything is plastic.....

Re: Auto Tranny shifting

Nope, the HOLD button will do just that...HOLD it in gear...at least thats what it does on mine. Say you have it in 1st with HOLD and you redline it....it will stay there (bouncing back and forth because of the rev limiter) until YOU shift it. If you release the gas, it will slow the car down a grea...

Re: rear speakers in the panels? 3dr

I see. With that said, I think I will keep the 6 3/4 speakers. I am planning on getting some Pioneer TS-A series speakers and probably using crossovers with them. When I rebuild the bass system, I will mostly use the speakers for the Mids/Highs and leave all the bass handling to the Subwoofers thems...

Re: 04-06 Aveo Fog Lights

I guess I should have clarified... I am wanting to use the stock fog lamp assembly, but mainly for driving lights. I know the HELLA H4 lights are used for off road, but there is a set that they make specifically for driving lights. I had some on my 95 Silverado and they made a world of difference wi...

Re: Convert rear drum to disc?

I think ABS is only for LT models. Not really. Mines an LT doesnt have ABS. I think it depends on if the dealer decided to have em. dont most new cars have ABS? Keep in mind this is an "economy car". Most do not come with ABS. My 04 is the highest model, an LS model, which was the LT mode...

Re: time for new front speakers

I was planning on doing this as well with some 6 1/2" Pioneers...didnt think it would work. Can anyone direct me to some pictures? I would really like to see these installed. Also, 4g63gst20, did you get them installed? If so, did you leave the door alone or did you cut out the hole and use the...
