I don't know if your link would work for others but it's no hassle sending it out to everyone individually.

Re: Cylinder head rebuild
I thought about opening up ports but I am not very familiar with these things so I just cleaned everything and put it back together.
I'll be seding the manuals tomorrow morning from work to everyone that replied

Re: transformers return of the fallen aveo in it lol
I saw these cars and they look cool. I also went on youtube and found a bunch of transformers car stuff.
I now want to get an autobot emblem for my 06 hatchback and add it to the front of my car. Was a big fan of transformers when I was a kid. Emblems go for less than $10 on ebay.

Re: Cylinder head rebuild
Yeah, I completely cleaned all the oil ports and let the head soak for two days with degreaser. I also had the head resurfaced for $40.00. Cleaned the piston heads and just made everything new again. The hardest part to clean was the intake manifold. I couldn't get all the oil completely out so I di...

Re: AWG AMERICAN WIRE GAUGE TABLE FOR BARE COPPER WIRE
Thanks for the info link. It comes in very handy. I know that the Aveo's has a junction point in the fuse block that heats up and burns the wires. I heard of this and found it on my own car when the dahs lights wouldn't go on. Does anybody know why this happens? What draws so much current that it st...

Re: Cheap cold air intake for 2006 aveo
I'll take a look at the link that you posted and get me a real cold air intake. I tried my ghetto set up today during my 1.5hr commute to work and didn't see any difference.
thanks for posting the link so I can read up on these CAI.

Re: Cheap cold air intake for 2006 aveo
Yeah, I know and I will most likely take it off. It shouldn't be called a cold air intake. It's more like a big vacuum on wheels :-) I never had a cold air intake before and friends that have them don't seem to agree if they actually work or not. I think that having no intake filter would definately...

Cheap cold air intake for 2006 aveo
Ok so I am tinkering with my car and I was looking to add a cold air intake but I don't want to spend anymore than $10.00 . So I start by looking to see were the air intake is and I find it hidden under the right wheel mud cover. For some reason it sits there facing the back of the vehicle. So I fi...

Re: Cylinder head rebuild
It is digital and in a zipped format. I found that my 2006 aveo has the electronic throtle control similar to the 2007 so the that is the only difference that I noticed from the repair manuals. I bought mine in December of 2006 so the later models were perhaps retrofitted with a 2007 electronic thro...

Cylinder head rebuild
Hello All, I just finished rebuilding my cylinder head two days ago and found that it was fairly easy to do. I rebuilt it because of bent valves. The timing belt didn't break like I hear of other people, but a careless mistake when replacing the original belt on my car. Turns out that in my car, the...
