I just find it really hard to believe that an engine with such a linear torque curve needs to run over 4500 to climb a little hill!

So, to anyone else here with an auto... Can you go up tiny hills at 75mph without it downshifting?? I can't. If the RPMs are below 3000 (approx 72-73) it can just fine and will lug up all but the really good inclines. Above that (75) it will downshift to 3rd and rev up to 4700 and just stay there, e...

I think its partially because of the reliability of these cars.

Also partially because of the diagnosing instructions from Chevrolet.


Combine a reliable car with half-assed diagnostic and troubleshooting instructions and you've got a recipe for shotgunning parts at a car, praying for a fix.

Well, car is done. Still fighting with Progressive over the deductible, so I don't have the car back yet. It looks perfect, tho. Really happy with the body shop.
