is the top of the strut shaft visible through the hole? or is it touching somewhere? did you add a washer below the mount? this holds the strut rod in the mount. other guys have added a thin layer of rubber/plastic between the mount and car. I myself have not come across this issue. + make sure its...

Hello! I setup rear coilovers (TA-technik Golf mk2) and i have some metall voice. Who know what is that?
p.s. i make the hole in the trunk(car boot), but it did not help!!! :cry:

it can go up, there are lots of threads left, but why would you want to ? the rear i ran into getting low enough i swapped mk1 vw coilovers on to the rear of my own car. Hello, this is the highest coilover position? or they may be even higher up? I have BBS Bugatti R16 ET30 7J +front 175/50, rear 195/45. and I worry that it will be bad !!! Thanks :D
