Yeah, use the DIY. I did that in my '07 hatch and it works like factory cruise except I didn't want to spend and extra $100 to put it in the steering wheel. I think it costed me $21 and something cents, was extremely cheap and worth it!

On my old beater car, I just used gasket sealant and put it back on. Costs like $1-3 a tube. Used it on the lawn mower too :lol: when I bored it out some to get a little more kick. I would buy a new gasket if it was my aveo though and not use the sealant, old beaters are a different story.
