am i the only one who thinks electric cars like the volt are not going to be what they say they are.. good for the environment?: compared to an SUV yes.. but compared to a good diesel (not offered in this country) that gets close to 75 per gallon for 1/2 the price and doesn't have a 300lb toxic bat...

Yeah I'm with you, the people that do the carlile are insane, it's definately not for me either... besides I want to live somewhat of a long life

I tip my hat to you wolfman if you happen to drive rig for the carlile run, most dangerous in the world I believe.

It's not diesel, besides I dont want a prius hybrid lol, would prefer 100% electric.

35 profile tires up here wouldn't last... roads are too rough, probably would also destroy the rims. Would definately look tight though, with those rims.
