Re: rear speakers in the panels? 3dr
I was thinking of cutting the original 6 1/2" hole and putting 6X9s in the rear deck of mine, but it doesnt look like there is that much room to do it. It would sure sound better....lol

Re: 04-06 Aveo Fog Lights
Now, I know this thread is a bit outdated, but beats starting a new one.... I have also been thinking about putting the stock set on my car, but putting brighter HELLA H4 lights in the sockets. The only thing I have a concern about is heat. I have heard of other drivers putting brighter bulbs in the...

Re: Auto Tranny shifting
I have used the HOLD feature that allows you to lock it in a gear. In first, I can hit about 40 MPH when the RPMs hit 6000. Yes, the car has a limiter. If you keep it floored at 6000 RPMs it will cut power and return over and over until you let off or shift. What I have found is you can hit: 40 MPH ...

Re: interior panels in the rear
If you do get some speakers in the door like that, post a how to or let me know. I was looking to get some bigger speakers (like 5" or 6") in the front doors, but nothing will clear the window. I guess thats why they only put 4" in the front doors.

Re: centre consol
What year is you car? I have an 04, so I can tell you how to do it as I have taken it off before as well. 1. On both sides of the console, remove the screw that is showing. This will release the console as well as the little flaps on the sides covering the gap under the dash. 2. Look in the rearmost...

Re: Shift Knob Problem
I notice on your car you have a straight shifter. The hatchback model stayed about the same until here recently. I say straight shifter because yours moves from PARK to 1ST in a straight line. If you look at some of the earlier cars, like my 04, The shifter has to be moved from side to side and up a...

Re: Releasing the key?
Thank you for the replies. How would I go about checking the alignment of that switch? Do I need to find the clicking sound under the dash or do I need to take off the center console? As I stated in my post, I can hear a "click" noise from under the dash when it happens. I took a closer lo...

Releasing the key?
Hello all, new here and couldnt find any info. With the Chevrolet Aveos, you know that when you have it in park and your not stepping on the brake pedal, it will do a click when you move it. If you didnt know, try it... Before, the car would allow me to go ahead and turn the key all the way to LOCK ...
