Yeah I did this to my car awhile back, I mounted the switch control under the ashtray. You get use to it after awhile and you forget that it's suppose to be on the steering wheel.

The only reason I would consider new pedals is because I have a manual tran and when my feet are wet the clutch pedal squeeks everytime I shift... can get real annoying real fast.

There is a better way to get the adhesive off without ammonia and steel wool. Ugh I would never use steel wool on the back window that just doesnt make sense, it's asking for problems lol.
