Yes you got clean them now and then rust check red stuff should help. or some kind of rust stopper in your area.

Ok LarsBud since you did not have a wing how did you find the back window for getting dirty before and now after having a wing. Is it cleaner now or not .

Well it might burn a little on the sec. But it cheaper and easy to replace brake pads & shoes then trans clutch.
So it all boils down to how long you want the clutch to last.
