I'd say most performance shops will be knowledgeable with at least one aftermarket ECU. I talk to them about it, see what they recommend. If you run into troubles down the road they would have the experience to tune/fix it for you.

Great News! Found the official specifications for the D16... Well it's not so great. The transmission can only take 135 ft-lbs at the input shaft.
