I think right now I am leaning towards spings, or even cutting stock springs.

Thanks Rabbit. your advice was the same I recived fom Sturgon Tire in Winnipeg, about the tire size for stock height. and after reading a bit more in the forums here I went to home depot and bought a box of half inch washers. not sure how thick they are but I will try to remember to bring my digital...

witch brings up a question about what you are aloud to do and what you are not aloud to do on a GM car to avoid voiding warranty?

I will for sure measure once I get my rims. I will get them made out of aluminum. I think the easiest way would be to use plate and laser cut I have seen some wheel spacers that also have machined edges. but I will just deburr it nicely. I think that will be good enough for what I need it to do. hop...

I have red lined in my old 06 Aveo in all but 5s, that's why I said a while ago that I am going to treat this one better. but the engine on the 09 seems to be a lot better so far. I am doing a synthetic change soon too. I have cooper winter tires and they are great .
