What else should I do?

Postby XJCasper » Fri Feb 19, 2010 8:08 pm

Gonna install intake, header, and exhaust.

While these parts are torn out, is there anything else that would be beneficial to install. Looking for gauges or electrical equipment that might be harder to do later.

Considering the tiny output our cars have, is there any beneficial gauges?

SAFC2?
EGT?

I would like to add something that could give me MPG readings similar to this:
http://www.scangauge.com/
BUT, I don't need the other info. Is there anything less expensive or better.
This is an item that is all internal to the interior, so could be done any time.

Input?

Thank you

not really, I was looking for some mpg reader too, but none for the aveo

header and intake only take an hour or so, other than that, nothing too fancy

are you looking for a permanent display or just be able to record information from?

i have movi installed on my laptop (netbook) and can plug it into the obd2 port for live data of most of the sensors and such.

the problem with a mpg gauge, even on my 3 audis that had them, is even as oem installs they are very inaccurate, i can only imagine how far off an aftermarket install would be.

I am looking for something to mount in the car.

Found a gauge from Autometer.

Gonna take some measurements in the car first.
