That's right, but you need a reverse lock out compatible knob. They are shorter and allow the reverse lock out mechanism to lift in the knob part. Isotta makes some nice knobs.

see how short it is?

so they are just shorter on the shaft attachment, i see. but it looks like you could still run either one but it will jsut raise the know a few inches.

fortunately though most of the T handle shift knobs i have seen dont go down the shifter lever either.. so i think it would still work.

I know what you mean, a standard replacement knob would be taller than stock to retain reverse-lockout. But yes a t-handle wouldnt be a problem...just need threads.

How about a shorter MOMO gearknob. Still retaining the pull up reverse. Just pluck out the original knob and replace with this.

And a MOMO real leather to replace the original plastic leather which cracks after some times.

And maybe a boss kit and MOMO steering wheel for aveo too.

Nice, I'll pass on the Momo steering wheel as I'm sure the dealership would frown at me but the knob is nice. I'd like it better if it was silver to match my car.

Indeed. I haven't had any issues yet though, just a winterization cable coming unplugged...that's it.

Nevermind, xioagary's shift knob is silver. That would be perfect! I have to track it down now. I believe it's from Momo Italy. xioagary, how does yours mount? Threads or set screws?

Yah, that's the same shift I'd like to have, but in RED.
What's the price over in UK, they want like $80 over here in Canada.
