Ripped drivers seat

Postby NYChevoo » Mon Sep 14, 2009 3:31 am

Hey everyone,
ok now after 99000 miles and never having any problems(amazing how great this little car has been)my drivers seat has a small hole caused by the interior hinge of the reclining seat back, or my fat ass. Has anyone ever had to order or knows where I can get OEM replacement seat coverings other than the dealership?

He drives like a man on his way home from work!

the dealership would be your best bet, my back seat started to fall apart at about 30k and i never used it, but they replaced it under warrenty

i would take it to the dealership though cuz if i would not want to mess with the airbag thingy a jig

a junk yard might cost you the same lol and its a used seat :(

Well it maybe a good time to look at replacing your OEM seats with some racing seats.;)

is that because you are in ontario, where the distribution is?

i am surprised, my two dealers are the same price most of the time, and they both tend to match the retail number on that site. Sometimes though the dealer i bought the car from will get me the 10% off, but it is still higher than gmpartsdirect.

I'm actually in New Brunswick. The dispo center for us is Montreal. I don't know why but every time I bought a part, I always got it cheaper than gmpartsdirect. I guess the dealers around here don't sell for the list price.
