Passenger Airbag?

I'm thinking of removing my passenger airbag.. i think i seen a video a long time ago on YouTube of a guy that did it and it looked awesome, so it it legal to remove it(NY)? and if so... is it hard?

its very likely not legal, check your laws. it might not be an inspection issue, but an insurance and or resale issue..

resale....its an aveo... no resale im gonna drive this thing into the ground....
the insurance was another thing i was wondering about....i dont know where to look for junk like that... tried yahoo search for airbag laws but no bueno...
