DIY front splitter

hey everyone i've been surfing the web and i came across this guy right here who made a front splitter for his s2000 out of wood :shock: looks pretty neat though

hahaha s2000's owners are so funny, they add weight to the front of their cars with wood because they cant afford the splitters that are already made, i guess it could be cool looking though if it is done right

what are you doing on honda forums anyways?

haha y only add wood?
that wood is so thin its not really doing anything anyway

well, if import owners are doing it than it must be cool, and to create downforce as usual

but one thing stll gets me, why add weight to the front of the car?

lol the front ends on the s2000 are already low

i wish i was lower, but i am already scraping my front mud flaps as it is

thats how i found out about the rallyarmor mudflaps and the roof scoop (which i still plan to do :D ) from the subie peeps

This looks like a project for the aveo...we always carved ours out of foam insulation and then fiberglassed them. With the 09's having the dip in the center though you would have to bend some aluminum for it to look right.
