Hey XJCasper, you're in Washington right? I'm considering moving down to WA possibly in the near future and am just looking to gather some more info. I really wanted to be in the Olympic area, but now I'm looking more in the Port Orchard area or Graham or possibly even Lakewood? I'd be working at our terminal in Tacoma, so I'm looking for a somewhat reasonable commute. Any advise you can offer would be helpful. Thanks a lot bro.

No, by Olyimpic I meant like around Port Angeles area but it's just too far a drive. Olympic as in The Olympic Peninsula.

I know a few people that commute to work in Tacoma from the Peninsula area. I wouldn't want that one.
I drive in from Yelm. Takes about 45 minutes to Tacoma. Nice drive pending on the time of travel.
Are you looking to rent or buy. Tons of both between Tacoma, Yelm, Olympia, and Graham.
What type of area are you interested in? I don't like Lakewood or Tacoma due to the business. Too much ghetto. Some nice areas, but I prefer the smaller town feel.
Won't get much snow around here unless you head up to the mountains.
Depot? What kind of work? Hows the pay?

I'm looking to buy. I'd like to stay near the ocean I think. I haven't looked at Yelm yet. I work for Carlile Transportation, so I'm just considering a transfer to our Tacoma terminal is all. The pay is ok...not 6 figures or anything, but I'm living pretty good for 21. I would probably sell my house here. I like the small town feel as well, Olympia seems like it would be a bit crowded. I think it's like a 25-30 minute drive from from Graham and Port Orchard.
