With the vgis, you get 2 "tuned" intake lengths, therefore 2 efficient engine rpms. The reason you don't see this on turbo cars is the intake is always under positive pressure, rendering any "tuning" useless and also because. the vgis is vacuum operated.

Engineers have used this for years. Some have incorporated it in the intake manifold, others have used "vanes" that moved and adapted with engine vacuum. The last were problematic in the long run because the spring returning the vane back would often get saggy or even completely broke.

rabbit, how much would they charge me to make a new intake manifold? It would be more for show, but if it is ported really good, wouldnt the engine make a little more power?

there is more to getting more hp then just porting. if going for show, i would do itbs, it would be hp too. and easy to adapt our cars to.

i see, I love those things, always wanted one! Though no filter in florida worries me, i wonder if that would matter
