Front License Plate

I have an 09 sedan and My wife wants to put a front license plate on it. I don't see any holes just some dimples in the bumper. Is there some kind of mounting bracket I need to buy from Chevy and install or do I just use a couple screws and poke through the bumper? There is no holes for the bottom just on the top.

i think you are supposed to use those two dimples.

i would zip tie the plate to the lower grill though. as i would hate to put holes in the bumper.

especially in a state that doesn't require a front plate. it can even lower trade in value.

The sedan don't really have the big grill below the bumper like the hatch. It would be tough to zip tie it to that and make it look good, i was just wondering if they sold a mounting kit or that was it, Thanks

In almost all my cars I do it JDM style and put it in the windshield. lol

you could always use 2 sided tape.. a bunch of my friends put vanity plates on with that..

My Aveo5 has a bracket on the front. I hate the back mounting though. Seems to rattle around. So I'm gonna buy one of those cheap plastic mounts and hopfully that fixes it. I bet it would work on the front in the spot the drill points are. Dresses it up a bit too.

I have the same car, please dont put holes in the bumper! How bad does she want this plate on it? I would recommend a bumper sticker instead or whatnot. If you do it, be careful & anchor it right so you dont trash your facia.
