how do they determine the mpg in your county? in the US its a bias test that manufacturers tune too to get high epa numbers but never reflect real world conditions.

the best true mpg cars over here are still tdi (diesel) cars, even with all the technology they through into hybrids.

it would be nice to get more mpg out of the aveo, every time i drive it its going 100 miles round trip..

Mine has been slowly decreasing. Down to 28 now.

Chev says it is due for a throttle body cleaning, fuel injector cleaning, and new plugs.

I already purchased the plugs and had them overcharge me to to the throttle body and fuel injector service.

Probably gonna get rid of the 16's for the next month and go to studded snows to head up the the mountains.
Next plan is to add the intake, exhaust and header.

another thing to consider about gas mileage is your tire choice. if you are on 17" wheels i believe your rolling diameter is larger than the speedo and in turn the odometer are tuned to. So you might be going farther than you realize on a tank. Although over a tank we ARE TALKING MAYBE 10 MILES.. at most.

heavier than stock wheel and tire combinations also take away mpg. but a heavy foot kills epa estimates.

the 17's should take away 1-2mpg right off the bat, what psi are you running them at?
