Just bought an 07 Hatchback for the Mrs.

Hey all, just wanted to announce the arrival of the second Aveo to join our family. My wife Clara thought that it would be nice to get a used low mileage Aveo for her to drive. Of course the both of loving our 04 as much as we do how could I possible vote against it. I found one adverstised on cars.com at Middletown Nissan which was about 50 miles from our home and it amazingly was the Active Red color that my wife likes. So we went just this Saturday to take a look at it. It's an 07 and has 40000 miles on it and the dealership was asking $7K. We took it for a test drive and decided that we were going to buy it. Signed all the paperwork, and said to the salesperson that we would see him next Saturday to pick it up. He told us if we wanted they could dealer-prep the car we could take it home the same day. Wow was I amazed! Got plates, Insurance and everything settled within 1 hr. The car was prepped, and since we drove up in the 04 Aveo we ended up me driving home the 04, and my wife driving home her 07 hatch back. This is the first time in my life that I wasnt aggravated or got stress headaches from dealing with a dealership. Actually a very pleasant experience. My wife still goes out to the garage to make sure it wasnt a dream and that both Aveos are in the garage.

Thanks Wolfman! She really loves her Hatchback. Its nice to see both of them here at home tucked in between her Jeep Grand Cherokee and my Chevy Suburban.

congratulations. nice addition. my wife loves my aveo too but says 3 cars is enough (for now).

btw, is it common that you don't get to pick the car up same day? i never went to buy a car and had to pick it up another day unless we went at night and banks were closed for financing... (i am known to go look at cars 5 minutes before the dealer closes)
