Re: WOLFMAN AK907's Build Thread
Well, I had temporarily chopped my rear muffler and replaced it with a straight piece of pipe, but because of the diameter of the pipe and the 2 resonators underneath it just wasn't quite giving me the tone I wanted at cruising speed around 3000rpm's, so I un-bolted the straight pipe and put a Skunk2 Racing muffler on there. But...I mounted it high, tilted down, so all you hear is the nice sound, but you don't see a bright chrome ricer muffler. It'll do until I strip the whole exhaust for 2" with a Flowmaster 60 out the side, no resonators. It's quieter than the straight pipe a little, but the low tone sounds much healthier. Here's how it turned out. Oh, btw that is a bungee on there, it's just holding it in place to make it to my shop tomarrow so I can weld a hanger on there :

Once it's welded in place it'll be aimed down enough that it shouldn't be an issue...I wouldn't think.
