my best sound is at about 5000 rpm... but it sounds good all the time, all I did with mine is just cut off the muffler and run a straight pipe, gave me more backflow too

How u guys keep the rpm so high? my rpm never goes over 3k after it gets to highest gear kinda gay

i hate the sound for 2k to 3k, 4k and up sounds nice

i got my sythetic oil change today and the guy loved the sound, many people think it sounds like its got something in it, i just smile

This is straight pipe instead of the muffler. Anyone got video of how this sounds? I'd be interested to hear it before I change mine.

I need to redo the exhaust on mine, you cant hear the beatiful sound of the 2.0L with a 1.6 restrictive exhaust

Look at the videos of my car on youtube (link in signature) Thats how it sounds straightpipe. The only thing i did, is like what corey did, take out the rear muffler behind the rear wheels and run a straight piece of pipe with a high quality dual tip.

Dont mistake me, its not FULL straight, ONLY the rear muffler removed. I still have the exhaust mani's cat installed AND the 1st muffler and resonator located under the front seats.

This is a 2.0 but the 1.6 is fairly similar. The 1.6 just "growls" less at wot then the 2.0
