Yah, it’s a 1st generation spoilers fits like a glove. They didn’t do any real changes to the original body, just the molding changed in 2009. It was over a $200 for a 2009 spoiler and I only paid $50 with shipping for the used 2008.

I am very happy with the performance of the rear and front bars I put in. The car is nice and tight in the corners, letting my use more speed. I have found that in sharp corners were I use to slow down shift to 2nd I can now handle in 3rd gear. This is letting me get more out of the car.

definitely looks good bud :)
i have the same type of intake setup myself and i think it would be neat to make a nice little box around the intake to serve as a heat shield . maybe after the snow storms are done with i can head over to the home depot and give it a shot at making one :D

I’ve been talking to a friend of mine who has been doing engine mods on Hondas and other import cars for years. He has been a really good help with finding contacts on parts, plus he really likes what I have been doing on my Aveo.
Ok let me get to the point, about adding a heat shield. He doesn’t think it will make much of a difference do to the size of the engine and the location of our air intake. I will be pulling out my resonator box in the spring and running a cold air tube up from the wheel well. That will help to supply more cool air up to the ram air.
