Corey's build thread o.o

Postby Corey » Sun Sep 13, 2009 3:54 pm

Hey hey hey this is Corey with my build thread! It all started with Need for Speed Underground 2 and a boring day when my friend and I had nothing to do and decided to wash my car, then we realized we had some mesh laying around that we could rig up into my grill!
Here's some pics!

Here she is when I bought her!

I like the scoop even if it doesn't take in air it looks pretty cool....I've thought about putting one on my car. Heck I may even make it work.
If you rev it, it will go!

It doesn't work right now, I'm going to put some apex springs on it and then I will be putting it in primer and molding the scoop to flow with the hood better, and making it functional, my only fear is water getting on the motor and messing it up... or flooding the intake filter... anyways, gotta continue the thread... lol

So I started on interior work, just painted a bunch of stuff to accent it and put on some seat covers until I get some real seats... also, you can use spray fabric dye to dye your door panel upholstery... tape it off and spray evenly and use a paint brush to spread it good, I'll do a diy on it if anyone wants

But before I did all that I decided to do some stuff with the motor, painted some stuff and put on a short ram intake and will be fabricating some cat-less headers soon and running a straight pipe exhaust instead of that stupid cadylic converter.. or however you spell it... lol

Then one day I decided to stop allowing my car to look like a smiley face. I spray tinted my tail-lights, parking lights, and painted some eyelids. Oh, and put on underglow.... lol, oh, and I got sick of those horrid looking decals. Those came on the car. So I got rid of those. lol oh and I got some low profile tires, those last tires were HUGE lol

Would I be correct in saying you air filter is one of those cheap less than $10 filters?

If so get rid of it immediately!!!!

Cheap air filters can't filter out the extremely fine particles and they get into your engine and will choke up your performance over time.

K&N or bust

Get a K&N, all those spectre performance pieces are junk. Airraid's are good too.
