no, once your on the bump stop your as low as travel will allow you to go.

so your not riding on the springs actually.

the tall one is the stock bump stop, the short one is the amount i took off and then used the middle one.. however i was still low enough i was riding on them most of the time anyhow, which was a little bouncy. you can shorten yours more than i did it just stops the piston from bottoming out, but they are OEM shaped for vw, and too tall for us.

o crap i looked on gmpartsdirect and saw where the bumper should have been. And i think i threw it out. Because when i took the originals off i never took off that rubber cover over the springs or w.e it covers. I left it laying in the corner and parent cleaned the garage out and threw out my old suspension

no, you shaft problem is a different issue, its above the fixed point of the suspension.

the bump stops came on the new coil overs. im pretty sure they are on both front and back.

yeah, you do not need the helper springs, they just keep tension on the shock when the car is on a lift.

but if you have no helper springs, only 2.5" of threads left on the shock body, and did not cut the bump stops (which are under the black boot) then you definitely are riding on the bump stops.. which has to be stiff as hell, you definitely need to cut them.

plus you should check that mount.

Ok and the bump stops are on the new coils right? I just have to take the black thing off to get to it?
