honestly that doesnt make sense, how many miles difference between the two octanes are you experiencing? And what plugs are you running?

it might be more than 15miles one way. it takes me like 40minutes to get to work driving mostly at 50-55mph. Thats why i waste so much gas going to work. I just switched to ngk iridium plugs. The platinums i had before were in bad shape already.

I really don't think platniums should be run in our cars. Not sure about iridiums. But I'll look into the differences.

You should NOT need premium fuel. You might see a 1-2 mile per gallon improvement using it. But if it's substantial then it's unexplained.

Regular (87), then super (89), then premium (91+).

lol either way i still use the middle octane gas which is 89. And somehow it still seems like my car is swallowing the gas

So is the expense of having an exhaust shop redo my exhaust system, really worth it?

I have the AEM intake and Gary's Header

i removed both resonators, and did the whole thing with 2 inch exhaust pipe

i can feel a little difference in the power, plus since you have header, it should be decent
