WOLFMAN AK907's Build Thread

Postby WOLFMAN AK907 » Sat Sep 12, 2009 2:48 am

This is my 09' Aveo5. It's a work in progress, so far my only mods are axle-back straight-piped exhaust, 17" silver MSR rims w/ Cooper Zeon ZPT 205/40/R17 tires. Also painted the inside of my headlights black. I have 12000K HID headlights right now, but I have a purple HID kit waiting to go in. I also have the factory foglight kit waiting to go in w/ 3000K yellow HID's whenever I get some free time. My personal plates say GR33K1. I will have more updated pics and info as I go.

Did you do your own exhaust?

Take it to the shop?

If you did it yourself, how about a DIY thread?

Thanks
Casper

I just wanted a little bit of sound temporarily so I disconnected the muffler on the back and slid a straight piece of pipe on in it's place with a u-bolt. I already spoke to my exhaust shop here in town, when I bring my car in they're gonna let me hang out and photograph everything. So I will have full under-car pics of the chasis and write a how to of everthing I did to the exhaust. Technically I guess it's really not cat-back, it's more like an axle-back straight-pipe.

I already have them. I've had them for a while actually...just haven't had time to work on anything, but I'm thinking of doing it on my vacation time somewhere between the 23rd-31st. I also still haven't installed my purple HID's or my 3000K's. The boxes are all still sitting on my living room floor.
