Engine cuts out sometimes when it rains.
My girlfriends car cut out a few months ago when we were driving on the interstate. It felt like we were loosing traction too. We took it to the parts store but the code had already cleared itself. She called me today and said that it did it again when it was raining. She took it to the parts store again and they told her it might be the ignition coil getting wet. Of course they didnt tell her what the code was and its gone again. I've read some posts on here and it sounds like it could be the throttle position sensor. Any ideas?

Sounds like it could be the spark plug wires or coil pack.
IF there water is truly related to the cause, if it was the throttle body reacting to rain, you would have gotten enough water in there to hydrolock the engine. But since it is rain related, it is most likely electrical, especially since the code goes away, which an intermittent misfire is the only code that would go away like that..
