no i really being very sarcastic, im not getting rid of my aveo, unlike many others whom names will not be called out

no one has turboed an auto tranny, how the hell does one know if the tranny will hold up in the first place anyways

an auto tranny can most likely be swapped for a bigger auto tranny if it can be done with the manuals. it will just need done differently.

Xiaogary: price be any different if not made in stainless? i think i would want it ceramic coated for heat so stainless steel isnt needed.

i am going to look into the rest of the costs to set up the turbo system the way i want it. maybei will pick this up if if is considerably cheaper than my swap idea.

I love the manifold xiaogary sounds like you spent some time and money into it for sure. I think if I ever turbo my aveo I would do stand alone too, though. It just seems like it might be the better path to go down.

I only made 5 sets. 3 are reserved by my friends already. I have one spare myself in case I need to make more. This spare will serve as a sample to the factory or workshop. The one I had now is very expensive because they specialise in making turbo manifold. So I count on their experience to make a good one. But good things never come cheap.

I wanted to make normal steel but the workshop adviced me to make them in stainless steel although its more ex. They claimed rust will be a problem especially when rust spread to the welding area and makes the joints more easily prone to crack. So I doubt people will want them in normal steel. Unless its cast iron, then cracking is not a problem. Too thick to crack.
