Exhaust pipe size for NA

I think i just want to stay NA until i get out of school, but see what can be done number wise without turbo

i was thinking 2.5'' from the xaiogory's header to muffler, no cats in between

i would say no bigger than 2.25" for the most part.. unless you start doing cams, itbs, standalone super high compression, etc.
if you are taking out all the restrictions, the oem is only like 2" in the first place. so a 2" straight pipe will flow that many % better than stock..

+1 2.5" is big. that is definently a turbo mod. I would stick to about a 2" like rabbit said. I straight-piped my 4.3L H/O with 2.5...3" was a little too much too where it was actually decreasing my performance.

ok ill just run 2.25 because i do want to change out the cams and such, tear down the engine and blueprint it, stuff like that (my friend is going to automotive school so he will do mine for cheap) but it will be my porject staring in a year or so. I figured i would start with the exhaust first engine wise

i still need the springs, headlights, tailights, cf hood, a new rim and a set of tires and such first, then i am going to start on my engine mods
