you can get a black tip, just find one that will work with a 2" exhaust that you like. and attach it.
it you don't buy a whistler tip, or a resonator tip, then no it will not change the sound at all.

Just type in Black Exhaust Tip on eBay. You get tons of items. You can also get some from LMC Truck, I think they also have some that are black dual tips that are yellow inside.

I searched for exhaust tips on ebay and most of the ones for Aveos are 2.5" inlet....is that right...??

If you're having a custom exhaust made it should be nothing for the shop to up from 2" to 2.5 at the tip.

Ah....now I see where you're going. I just wanted to put a chrome or black tip on the end of the factory pipe. I guess that can't be done unless you're building a new exhaust from the ground up.

Oh, no no no. Most of these tips have adjustment screws, so a 2.5 tip will still work on a 2" tail pipe. Normally they have 3 screws around it. I got a resonated tip made by Pilot from Walmart...12 bucks, couldnt beat it. It's a chrome 3" tip.

Yeah man...that's what I want...!! I just wanted to get black if it was out there. Trying to stick with a black and white theme. I'll do some more searching...thanks!
