Turbo Manifold

Postby xiaogary » Mon Oct 19, 2009 5:33 pm

I am in the process of making a 4-1 turbo manifold custom made for aveo/lanos/nubira 1.4-1.6. If anyone is interested. You can look for me.

Its currently made with a small T3 turbo flange and 38mm standard wastegate flange. It also came with a cover and screws/nuts if you wish to seal the wastegate flange. It also came with the EGR removal function, meaning the flange will block off the EGR gases from going to the EGR valve.

Now its in the final stage of testing whether the manifold with a standard T3 .42/.48 turbo will hit the engine block/radiator fan when mounted. I am not too concern with it hitting oil filter since most people will install a oil filter relocation kit with the installation of a oil cooler.

Some pictures. Came with 38mm wastegate flange (and cover + screws not shown in pictures) if not using external wastegate. This is a T3 .42/.48 turbo commonly available in ebay which is meant for EVO III.

Plenty of space for turbo as can see. Currently with 4-2-1 headers.

Some more pictures after touching up the flange, some port and polish for smoother surface and spray with silver high temp exhaust paint. And adding a few metal pieces to strengthen the structure.

i only have two questions.

first is can you turn or rotate the turbo? the output that goes to the intake look alike it points right at the block.

second how much?

is there anyone in singapore than can reprogram an ECU? i donot want piggy back or trciks..
