hi everyone!! Hey in 1 and 1/2 years im done paying my baby. AND I want to swap my auto trany to manual. Has anyone done it b4? Arround how much $ i wud need? Thanks. -alex-

But wait, wouldnt it be easier to swap all the aftermarket stuff onto another Aveo with a 4 speed already in it?
It doesn't cost that much to trade a vehicle, if you play your cards right, its way less work, and it works like the factory installed it.
I mean, I can see if these cars were old and classic or something...but there a dime a dozen and plentiful in good shape.

still though, you have to try to sell the aveo, pay the transfer fees possibly, then find another aveo that is decent and pay the fees for that, swapping transmissions isnt easy either i guess

to be honest i prefer to work on the tranny sweap with my friends that to trade my car. I really fell in love with it and i like to set my car myself wth my friends =P

the aveo is not an import, therefore it will not hold its value, apparently its not reliable....
i would buy a 95 camry with 400k miles before i would buy a new aveo for the same price
