Aveo 2.0L - New Video

Postby Nemasys » Sat Nov 07, 2009 8:17 am

So i made a new video tonight using my cellphone to show you guys the D20's different gear ratios.

You will see a slow rev in 1st all the way to fuel cutoff at 6500 rpm then an attempt to make good time in a 0-60 mph pull, mind you this is pretty hard to do when your holding the camera with 1 hand, shifting with the other and trying to hold the steering wheel lol.

Notice how looooong 1st gear is and how high the revs stay when i shift, i really like that haha! :D

Regardless, i tried to count the seconds from the time the needle starts going up until it hits 60 mph and its in the vicinity of 7.5 to 8 seconds, pretty good for 1 hand driving while holding a camera.

The car is defenitely faster with the D20 as its geared for the 2.0's power output.

Lol what the heck u using to count? At 1st i was using my head to count but i tried it several times with my stopwatch and i get around 8.5 seconds. I start the watch right before the needle starts moving, stop it when i go to shift in 3rd. Im pretty sure i could be closer to 8 seconds if i had both hands to drive.

10 seconds is pushing it.

i used the timer for the video. pause it right before you hit the gas, and right when you hit the 60 mph mark on the speedo. might be 9 seconds.. but the counter flips. but no less than a second intervals.
