I saw a picture of it on the other forum, not sure if that was the same one or just the same type setup. The pluses to that setup is shorter and simpler piping (espically if you can find room to front mount the IC.) But the down side is heat soaking the IC and losing power over time. I've been thinking of a setup like this for my SVX (if I decide to go turbo)
You can't believe everything you read on the internet, after all that's how World War 1 was started.

yes its very simple, the hood must be modified though it looks like, which you could put a scoop on it to try to cool down the IC maybe

i might go this way when i start collecting parts, i can modify my crap hood and save 500 insted of buying a cf hood

more cooler air coming from the front i would think

if you buy all the parts serpatly, good parts, it can be several hundered dollars

buy an ecu off ebay for 100 and have it remapped for the specs you will need, amybe 800 there

custom manifold, buy xaiogorys and have a flange welded on, maybe 600 all together

do some work yourself or take it to someone and have your piping done, not very difficult

boost and and controller, maybe 100

i would say under $3000 to do a good setup, and can be way cheaper

yeah but you would not be able to drive it when you ship it out, i guess a cheap second set of wheels will be of some value, in case there is epic failure along the way

the intake is on the front because it is feeding the turbo.

and with a properly mapped and tuned computer, you should not need a boost controller, that should be in the programming.

i would just buy another one off ebay just incase you need to change back to stock, though i dont know if you could do that just by changing out the ecus
