Rabbit is right when he said 140 hp isnt much.
If the price of the new aveo is going to be around 17-18k then it most likely wont sell much. alot more cars have higher HP for the same price

it wont be for that much, well at least without a ton of options, but then again, the aveo is still not a racecar anyways. Though, you can bump up the psi be done

If it is based on the Corsa then the RS should share running gear with the VXR which is the current 1.6 ecotec from the Aveo with a turbo and some modifications. 192bhp!!!
The only modified Aveo in Scotland!

A figure of 140hp means nothing. You need the complete torque curve if you want to be able to comment on the performance.

A turbo charged 1.4L probably has a torque curve as flat as the prairies. That means very good acceleration and part throttle economy will be awesome. Sure it won't be the king of the road, but bigger N/A cars with more horsepower still won't be able to keep up. I'm talking about V6's and possibly some small V8's.
