i like that, only thing that worries me is the seem to say wider and bigger a lot. if the aveo is bigger it is heavier, making the extra ho needed just to get it to move. it is already under powered, and now it seems like it might be closer to the size of a vibe?

is the spark coming here? its redesign seems closer to the original aveo size wise? why do cars always get bigger?

Yea the spark is set to release this year...
And GM look at statisctics alot. Whatever the U.S buy the most of they produce
Which always tends to be big size cars and SUVs... maybe not as much now since economy sux

But atleast this aveo is truly a american car cus it was designed in the U.S GM.

That is pretty sexy. It reminds me a lot of the new Scirocco. If that's the new one I'll be trading my 09' in for sure.

the spark wheel base is 4.1 inches shorter than our current aveo, while the new aveo is 4.8 inches larger.

hmm.. wonder about pricing.

No Doub't...I wan't one too. If they really make that RS version, I will be back in a showroom placing an order.

Although the spark is supposed to be cool too.

Seems to me that the Spark, is taking the place of the Aveo, the Aveo is maturing into the market segment of the Cobalt. And with the demise of the Cobalt...is it bye-bye to the long running J-body platform?

Back on topic, I read that 1.4 turbo is being 'considered'. Might have to wait for an '11 to get it I bet...

Wow, 19" wheels...that's a lot of rim for such a small car. Even my buddies Lancer GTS only came with 18's.
