Next Gen Aveo

Postby thehunterooo » Wed Jan 06, 2010 5:28 pm

If they are still making one, I wonder if it will still have somewhat of the same body style, allowing for an easy swap of the new turbo engine and tranny, has anyone seen any new information?

that does not sound like an american market engine.

only because lots of manufacturers have awesome small displacement engines turbo or not, but the americanized version is always, always seems that a na 1.6 16v as the smallest option.

i just saw a kia sorento commercial saying it was made in the us.

moving the small car production to the us is ine thing that will not only keep jobs here, it will be part of what will save gm (if its not too late already). cheap american cars are what we need, replace the suvs save on oil consumption.. etc. only "good" can come from it.

back to what hunter said... I dont think there will be a 3rd gen aveo because isnt the Chevy Spark supposed to take over in 2011? and if you see pics of the Spark it resembles alot of the aveo

chevy apparently said the will keep the Aveo name as it is expensive to introduce new car names, or so they said
