i bought my exhaust piping al my local part store and it cost me $20 for 10ft of steel exhaust piping

Just pick up a stick of aluminized steel exhaust tubing. If you need to make any bends an easy way to do it is fill the pipe with sand, heat it up and bend it with a pry bar.
