I will be trying this once i get income tax and my return check from valencia.
The only place here in florida hunter is in Hallandale. If you know where thats at.
And they put the chip in this is not something you can do urself. I believe they open the ecu up to tune it.
And if you read the whole thread you would have noticed that the company said they dont know if ours are tuned the same. You have to take the car to them to check and they offer money back warranty if ur not satisfied with the tune.
You should read everything twice hunter cus u missed alot of detail lol

its not a chip, its a re flash of the ecu through the obd port..

they basically reprogram the fuel maps in your stock ecu. if it works, fantastic! if it does not, it can't exactly be undone since you wont have the original program, so as a safety net you need a backup stock ecu.

I did read quickly and did my own research as well lol, I figured i could beat you down there but if you are going then I will leave you to it, though I would not mind a weekend trip to Miami. I think I asked my question the wrong way, more as if you would be able to buy another ecu and just plug it in and go if things go wrong? I see them on ebay for about $50 and was always tempted to buy on for a case such as this one, but I didnt think you could just swap them out.

If it does work though I will be taking a trip down there lol

i have not come across any immobilizer warnings so it should be plug and play between them if you match them up..

i would probably test the swap between the ecus before making an appointment..



stuff like this costs money, i know but just like what i have done for you guys, i've put money into the research with risk of not getting back.

I dont mind spending money on risk, just something like swapping ecu's seems like it could cause problems since a car is just a big computer nowadays lol, ill prob pick one up soon anyways

Yea i was planning on buying a second ecu for this anyway. so i should be able to check if it is a plug and play type thing with our ecus.

I want to do this but havent had money to go do it. I havent done my income tax yet lol.

I wanted to wait for my cams but if that does not happen then I will go down if red gets scared
