trans axle question?

Whats the code of the 09 and up trans axle? Like my cherokee is an ax4 transmission.. does anyone know? Ive heard that our trans is shared with hondas and ive heard that the only diff is ratios in 5th gear are different but im not sure.

we have nothing in common with hondas, their transmission is backwards.

its a d16, or f16 for vauxhall cross reference

ok so will the clutch kit from the 1th gen fit my car? bought mine used and the clutch was iffy, i let this dealership fix my coil today and i got it back and the clutch is pretty much gone and they drove it like ten miles... they wont fix it stating the 10 miles was to make sure it didnt misfire anymore... bu@#$^!!!!

i am not sure if the clutch is the same, but the newer gen had an optional heavy duty clutch available. i would go with that.

or order a hp vauxhall clutch.

Sachs is brand of clutches, very good, yet still affordable.

the first gen i found sais it fits the 09 g3.. but not listed as a fit for the 09 aveo... so its one way or the other..
