Engien mout pattern

Postby kamikaze » Fri Jun 24, 2011 11:30 pm

How can I find out ihow dose moters bolt on diffrent cars?

I'm thinking of doing a superchared 4cyl on my 09Aveo5. Is there any moters that will bolt on that comes with a super charger?

Well we know a supercharged cobalt LSJ motor will work, just look up "The Green Monster Aveo". It was built by Jason Whitfield of Whitfield Racing. Last time I spoke to him I thought I remembered him saying he could offer a swap kit to produce if we were interested. I think he sold that car though. There's videos online of that car smoking a cobalt too...I don't really have the energy to find all our old posts and pictures to inform you better right now...I just worked 18 hours straight, but you should be able to find a lot of info we already posted on AveoForum.com.

Yeah, I think had I gotten a manual trans 1.4T Cruze instead of an A/T 1.4T I wouldve probably kept it. For being twice the price of my Aveo and having little power gain over it, I just couldn't justify keeping it.
