Flasher Location

Postby HitecRednec » Tue Oct 20, 2009 11:10 am

Ok folks I located the flasher unit on the 09 Aveo 5 Hatchback.

On the drivers side door jam on the dash is a Fuse door. Remove the fuse door and then remover the panel that the door fits into. it is held in by clips that just pop out. the flasher unit is the BLACK one on the top with the part number on it that reads 96312545 and under it reads 12V2/4x21W DOT DECO Made in Korea. Just take it down to you local Automotive store and pick up a 12 Volt 3 Prong for LED 2/4 lamp heavy duty flasher unit and the Hyperflash from your LEDs is fixed.

OMG!!! Thank you so much! I've spent hours with my driver's seat reclined and my head under the dash...and I'm a big guy, it aint' pretty. Good, I'll order mine with my LEDs then.

I just provided more details like what panels you have to remove and which one it is and the actual factory label from the unit for identification.
