Hey guys.
So I was coming to work last wee and a co-worker told one of my headlights was out. I tought alright, got a bad buld, just need to change it. Well, turn out the socket had burnt. So I go out and I buy 2 sockets just in case I get the same problem further down the road.
Now I'm a believer that if you change one bulb, you change the other. Well the other socket had burnt marks on it too!
All of this is do to corrosion. I'll post pics up later. It's just one thing to check for. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

What section did you get them from? In Moncton, we haven't had H4 bulbs in for quite some time now! If you have a part number for me that would be great.

Are the bulbs you were running a higher wattage than 55W? I've experimented with those 100W Xenon bulbs before that destroyed the wiring in my harness and melted my socket plugs. Not worth it, just go HID.

Yeah I had those bulbs in. The problem is not the bulb, they are a standard 60/55 watt bulb. The problem was corrosion. I'll post pics later, I only have a cellphone.

I agree HID would save anyone the headache.

yeah I could run HIDs since there is a cover inside the headlamps to direct the light.
