my fog lights did have the socket for the lights, and the wire leads to where the factory harness would be.

the relay harness gives power to the light directly form the battery through a relay (just how it would be from the factory)

it is complete install kit minus the lights, in a pre-loomed wiring harness.

so what comes in the $20 kit?
just the wires to connect it to the battery and to a rocker switch?

well its a prewired loom, with the ends on it and a relay for the lights. and a switch circuit, with a cheap switch.

for the price, i think it is worth it, sure it is like a $5 relay (sure the might be cheaper somewhere) and to buy the wire and ends would be another $5, but the loom, waterproof slip covers on the ends etc, everything already being cut to length, and labeled. made it worthwhile to me. \

But it is important to have the relayed..

Just go out and buy a new pair. I don't know about where you are but here almost all the audio shops sell fog bulbs that are yellow, green or blue. Or just bright white. You could always go HID.

Thats as apart as they get as far as I know. You have to buy that part to change it. I don't know of a way to change just the glass.
If you rev it, it will go!
