Roof Rack

Anyone use a roof rack on there Aveo. I have a Kayak I'd like to carry occasionaly on my 09 and wondered if anyone had used any.
I'd like to know what works as I'm more looking to find one used. I don't wanna pay the premium they get for them if I don't have to.
