HID's

Postby thehunterooo » Tue Sep 22, 2009 9:00 pm

Anyone found a good site (not that ebay shit) wolfman told me one but i forgot where i wrote it down

One of the headlight bulbs i bought off ebay burnt out, thankfully not the one on the battery's side so its and easy fix with the stock bulb i kept

I also wonder to anyone with HIDs that would they melt any part of the stock headlight or the projector ones off ebay that im going to buy (do they come with bulbs already?????)

The projector head lights do not come with bulbs already. I run HIDs with stock housings and have been for months now, they do not melt them, infact they run a little cooler because they use 35 watts of power per ballast instead of 55 watts on a standard halogen bulb. I did quite a bit of research before I bought the HID kit I did. It is the H4 slim Hi/Lo HID kit 6000k. I spent $130 on the kit. Came with everything you need, plug and play.

Oh yeah they are, don't waste money on those bulbs. Besides HIDs have a lifespan beyond 3000 hours and 1000 ignitions. That's like 4 or 5 times more than a halogen bulb. And... they look sweet
